Wafa School

About Wafa School

Wafa School is a community-run Islamic Sunday School dedicated to the religious education of children. Classes are held every Sunday during term time, from 10:00am to 1:30pm. Our teaching is rooted in the Qur’an, the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (s) and the Ahlul Bayt (as), helping children develop a strong foundation in their faith from an early age.

Wafa School is run under the invaluable guidance of the founder of Babul Murad Centre, HIWM Maulana Sayed Zulqadar Razavi, whose support and direction help shape the religious and educational ethos of the school.

Our mission

To strengthen Islamic education amongst the youth of our community, nurturing faith, knowledge and good character while inspiring children to become loyal and thoughtful servants of Imam Mahdi (as) and of humanity.

Our values

  • Faith — grounding every child in the beliefs, teachings and practice of Islam.
  • Knowledge — cultivating curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
  • Character — nurturing honesty, kindness, patience and responsibility.
  • Community — building strong bonds between children, families and teachers.

Our teachers

Our classes are led by dedicated volunteer teachers from within the community, supported by a small management team. Every member gives their time out of a shared commitment to Islamic education and to nurturing the next generation.
